DOCUMENTED HISTORY

Articles, interviews and speeches

A curated gateway to articles, interviews and speeches by and about Bjørn Egge, with source context and links to the documented biography.

Bjørn Egge in his own words

The book A Warrior for Peace is the principal first-person source for this archive. Published interviews and recorded testimony add context, but quotations and recollections are identified as personal testimony rather than independent conclusions.

Public service and historical testimony

The material spans war and captivity, military service, the United Nations operation in the Congo, the Norwegian Red Cross, veterans’ work and human rights. Each item should be read together with its date, publisher and source status.

A growing reference collection

The family archive is gradually registering speeches, interviews and articles. New material is added only when provenance, publication context and rights status can be described responsibly.

About analytics and privacy

With your consent, the Bjørn Egge project uses Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and outgoing clicks. We use aggregate statistics to improve the website and understand which parts of Bjørn Egge's story visitors use. Google processes browser information, page addresses and click events. Click statistics may include the destination domain and link address. Form responses are not included in this measurement. We do not ask for analytics consent again until your choice expires or you change it. Your choice is stored in bbm_statistics for up to 180 days.
