Bjørn Egge (1918–2007) was a Norwegian officer, wartime participant, political prisoner and major general. He served as president of the Norwegian Red Cross and advocated humanitarian principles, human rights, historical testimony and peace.

Egge belonged to a generation that experienced occupation and later helped shape post-war institutions. His life connected military service, captivity, senior command and humanitarian responsibility.

The Film

A Warrior for Peace is the working title of an international feature project inspired by Bjørn Egge’s life. It is in development; no production credits or release date have been announced.

Kriger for fred is Bjørn Egge’s own account. New EPUB and illustrated PDF editions are in preparation.
